Based in Co. Carlow, Ireland, Stephen Adams is a pipe organ builder with over 37 years experience in this specialist field. He was a director with Kenneth Jones & Assoc. for many years and now operates on a freelance basis.

 

His areas of work range from maintenance and tuning to complete rebuilds and restoration, voicing and supplying new pipe organs to churches, schools, colleges and private owners.

Stephen had the privilege of studying organ under Sydney Greig and John Dexter in his earlier years at St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin, giving him a real working knowledge of the instrument.

At this point in time his experience spans 37 years in the trade. He has worked extensively in the USA and the UK, with some experience of Australia thrown in for good measure.

 

For bigger projects, Stephen works with a team of experienced professionals; he has experts in every field at his disposal and doesn't hesitate to call on them as the need arises.
